Do I need racing experience?
Not at all. The vast majority of our drivers are first-timers behind a sim rig. No experience, no racing license, and no prior gaming background required. All equipment is provided, and our team walks you through the basics before you head out on track — you will be comfortable and competitive in minutes.
How long is a session and what does it cost?
Our most popular drop-in option is 30 minutes for $30 — enough time to get comfortable, set some serious laps, and want to come back. Longer sessions and multi-session packages are available; check our Pricing page or call us at (916) 237-3355 for current options.
What kind of simulators do you have?
We run six full-motion racing simulators, each with four-axis motion platforms that replicate G-forces, road bumps, and tire slip in real time. Every rig features triple 4K screens wrapping a 180-degree field of view, seat haptics that buzz engine vibration and grip changes through your body, MOZA-grade load-cell pedals with true brake-pressure sensing, and 900-degree force-feedback steering wheels — the same class of hardware professional sim racers train on.
How many cars and tracks can I drive?
Our library covers 200+ cars and tracks — a wide range of machinery and circuits so there's always something new to master. You can use the full library across all three session modes: Hotlap & Train (chase your personal best), Race Friends or AI (wheel-to-wheel competition), and Traffic Mode (nohesi-style high-speed runs). We also run weekly and monthly hotlap competitions and a season-long racing league if you want to put your times on the board.
Can I book for a group or party?
Absolutely. Our Private Party package gives your group exclusive access to all six simulators for one hour at $299 — ideal for birthdays, corporate events, team building, or bachelor parties with six to twelve drivers. Visit our Private Events page for details and to enquire about custom packages.
Do you offer a membership?
Yes. Hyperdrive Elite comes in two monthly plans. Morning Shift is $99 a month for one race every day before 2 PM on weekdays, and Pro Member is $199 a month for one race every day, any day and any time. Both include 2 guest passes a month, priority booking, exclusive member events and tournaments, and advanced coaching. Cancel anytime, no setup fees.
Can friends or family watch?
Yes — we have a dedicated spectator and viewing area so your crew can watch every lap, cheer you on, and see exactly how you take Eau Rouge. No ticket required to come along and watch.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, casual clothing works perfectly. We recommend closed-toe shoes for the best feel on the pedals. You do not need any special racing gear — all equipment is provided at the venue.
Is there an age or height requirement?
Hyperdrive is a family-friendly venue and welcomes drivers of all ages. Younger drivers may need a parent or guardian present. Please contact us or call (916) 237-3355 so we can confirm the best setup for your group before your visit.
